Currently working on an Academy 1/72 PBY-5A (Battle of midway 80th anniversary edition)
Having fun learning how to build again with different paints
And i have the beginnings of a sculpture of an angler fish on my desk too. My assignment for university is to use metal and found objects to create a sculpture, so im using parts of a kids toy plane to create the head and light, and strips of metal to create the body work.
Yes ill post photos when im done

You can learn all the math in the 'Verse, but you take a boat in the air that you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurtin' 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

I doubt anyone cares (or is still awake) but hey! I've got the painting finished and a gloss coat on my Hurricane!!!
Seriously, I've had so little modelling time this year it sucks - 10-20 mins a day if I'm lucky. It's March (almost) and I've yet to finish anything. Pah! At least I can actually do some decals now - as it would appear that I haven't actually decalled a model since last November...
Cheers!

Hey, I care. Okay, not a lot, but some. Well a bit, anyway…
That is looking very good!

To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

I did actually build a mk.IID with the big cannons a few years back, using the old Matchbox kit.

Thanks Tom!
Got the decals finished, matt coat done and the masking removed - I need to touch up a couple of the frames but overall I'm happy with that.

Looking very sharp in the desert colors Stuart! Not too far to the finish line... or in this case, the flight line.
