Model Mania 2018

Houston IPMS had their Model Mania 2018 on Saturday. Here's a link to the pics from the show.

So I entered the mech into the show. I knew I was in for stiff competition cause the guy in front of me in line to register had a massive Gundam kit. There were a TON of entries. Gundam and mech kits are all the rage right now. Just about every vendor had Gundams and some that's all they had. [finger]

So when they did the awards for the mech category, they said that they had to split it into two, 1/144 and smaller, then everything bigger in scale. Mine fell into the smaller scale one.

Well I won second place in my category!!! There's no wording on the plaque because of the split category and I'll get it in the mail soon.
