Ok gang. I need something that's going to go a little smooth for me with this Freightliner build looming in the background so I've decided to take on another "Demon II" project. I'll be taking the original gasser idea and slamming it to the ground for more of a Pro Street look. Paint scheme will be the original Street Demons theme with the flames on the sides.

Here we go:

Incidentally, I’ve seen a similar automobile prowling the streets of my neighborhood on sunny Saturday or Sunday afternoons, early evenings. It’s in primer, probably a work in progress for the owner, and it is downright menacing-looking, and it just oozes attitude and coolness.

This kit comes with a blown 426 Hemi but I don't like that nasty scoop coming up out of the hood. My aim is to fill in the hole in the hood and to change the induction up on the engine a bit. Gonna go with a Ramcharger 426 instead:

Complete fiberglass front ends, acid dipped bodies, rear seat-heater-and radio delete, carpet with no soundproofing, lightweight van seats and no window regulators in the doors. The only way to raise and lower the windows was with a belt attached to the bottom of the window. All the way up was with the belt attached to the floor and if you wanted it down you released it and lowered the window. You actually ordered it from the dealer and it had to be towed to the Hurst Factory to finish the assembly process. Believe it or not...............anybody could walk in and order one.

There are no coincidences—I just added the Jo-Han to my collection. I wanted some good muscle to build when the going was tough.

PS. I know you are building the Demon with a power plant swap but what a power plant...

You found a Jo-Han version of one of those??? Those are getting to be RARE!!! Really looking forward to seeing your take on that build Bruce.

P.S. Yeah 425 hp back then is like 600-700 hp now. Just crazy.
