thanks it is only post shading with a greyer mixture of the revell 42, same on the beige and Mig washes in earth and grey .

the phantom is a memory as engine machanic of the F-4F during my time in german airforce :giggles:

I LOVE the red and white checks and stripes! That makes this one really stand out from the herd! (Pun intended)

This is just as lovely as the last!

The textures—the wood grain with a slight sheen of varnish on prop and supports—and the doped fabric covering the fuselage, wings and stabs is outstanding.

How are you achieving this?
