Nice! I have the P-47D "Bubbletop" version of Tamiya's kit.

There is no finer kit.......pure modeling bliss. Other than maybe some seatbelts, it really needs nothing. The tires have an annoying seam down the middle and when you sand the tread disappears. I usually substitute Ultracast here. I look forward to your progress.

And I agree. I do not really like the PE. Moreover usually make many blunders . Normally only use seatbelts and eventually the instrument panel. I have the Eduard PE for this model bought some years ago and I only use the instrument panel and seatbelts. The details are excellent so I see no reason to use the PE.

Looks great to me.

Like your shading! Looks soft and has no hard borders. What paint do you use, and how much do you thin it?

As Thomas said: Nice shading, soft but popping out. I follow your build with interest!
