The Duke's Latest Vehicles

This week I was able to finish three 1/72 scale vehicles. One of them is one of three subjects built for my Japanese Forces.

This first one is the ACE 1/72 scale Kurogane pickup truck. It gave me a fight, but it is done now and been delivered to my Japanese Army:

These next two are being delivered to my US Army. First is this Dragon 1/72 scale M-998 Humvee gun truck:

The gun truck is escorting the other truck. This is the Dragon 1/72 scale M-998 Humvee troop carrier:

And that is all of the vehicles I have done so far. Thanks for looking in, comments are welcome.

Nice trio of wheels there Mark. I would call them Softskins, but the armed HMMWV has that issue partially addressed. Man I feel for the guys who has to create those things and go to war in them...

Again, a set of two great builds Duke!

If the big audience here on SPAM could wish something.... That would be to get a group picture of these, especially as they belong to the same "group", sort of.
A tiny japanese pickup truck from WW2 era next to a modern, big Humvee truck..
Would be great to see them standing next to each other in a pic.. to see the size different really clearl.
Perhaps next time... :-)

Thanks everyone for the great compliments and comments.

Carlos, I agree, they are softskins which is why I titled this Thread "vehicles" instead of "armor". LOL! Even with the armor plate, it's pretty soft. That particular one looks like a field mod too. I agree, going to war in that would be a bit nerve racking.

Kari, thanks. I think I can shoot a pic of all three of these together. Stay tuned, I can possibly get it done at the beginning of the week.

Thanks Blacksheep!

Dang Mark! I really like all those HUMMERS. Spent LOTS of time in those when I was in the service. Great work on such tiny models.

Thanks Joe! With these two being finished, I have now completed the entire lineup of Humvees offered by Dragon in 1/72 scale. Someday I'll have to dig through my tubs and pull out all my Humvees and get a big 'family' picture.
