Started this waaaaay back in October and am just getting around to finally be ready for paint. Been working on this very slowly. Using these Super Scale decals for an Iwo based plane "KiTHCERBiTCHiN."

Also picked up these two resin accessories which both looked to be a vast improvement over the kit parts.

The only addition I did to the cockpit was to use some Eduard color etch belts.

I spent a long time just slowly working all the seams over and this is the first time I have ever tried polishing the plastic in prep for the NMF. I think it's ready for paint. Finally.

I also scratched up the two wooden Uncle Dog antenna that make this visually discernible as a VLR mustang. This is the 4th retry and it still needs some work, but you can see where I'm going here. Getting the two pieces symmetrical is HARD!

Well that's where it sits right now. Thanks for looking in. Comments welcome.
