I wanted to work on something relatively simple while looking for missing parts, etc. So, this seems like a good candidate.

Not a lot of sprues and pieces / parts.

Okay....looking for pictures of the wheel wells, inside of landing gear doors, etc. The destructions, err, instructions in various places say, interior green/gloss white/aluminum or only gloss white in other places.

Looking for pictures. What little I've found on google, shows gear struts are indeed white, as expected. Can't really see up in the bays to see color.

Just a heads up on this one. I did the "E" last year and there's some spots to watch for.

1. The clear windscreen fits like crap. You'll need to sand and fill, sand and fill, etc.....

2. The engines do not fit right with the wings, mainly at the front of the pylon where it meets the wing.

3. Check the decals. The aircraft on the sheet are completely wrong.

That all sounds right up my alley! :headslap: But, I have friends in low places! :ballbat:

Cool - interested in following this. I do a couple commercial/transport types now and then. Minicraft always seem to have fit issues - but a catalog I can't stay away from.

Taped the cigar shaped thingy - a fuse a log? together and tested the canopy/windscreen fit. I'm shocked. It seemed to fit as well as can be. Maybe I should go buy a lottery ticket?

You’re finding all kinds of misplaced goodies, and your test fit is great... yeah, go buy a lottery ticket!

Found the missing kit today, too! I spent a good hour or two (breaks for neck resting...) putting some sort of masking on the windscreen. . . 1/144 scale. Sheesh. That is a #11 X-Acto blade. And, I will be painting the inside of the windscreen black! Now...anyone got a good suggestions for masking the eyebrow windows? They are just over 1 mm square.
