Here is my recently completed 1/32 Hasegawa Fw 190D-9 build of the JV44 Dora flown by Heinz Sachsenberg known as "Red 1".



In addition to the kit parts, I've added the following aftermarket items to the build:

1. Aires 190D-9 resin cockpit set
2. Eduard 190D-9 brass flaps
3. Quickboost 190A gun barrels
4. Eagle Editions 190A/190D-9 Early resin tail wheel
5. Henri Daehne VS111 resin prop
6. HGW 1/32 Luftwaffe seat belts
7. Montex masks
8. Eagle Cal decals

Sorry, man....couldn't help it. That is a stunning build and I'm tired. Been putzing around all day trying to rebuild the little paint shelf I built in 30 minutes a couple of years ago. Thought I could improve it.

Just beautiful I really like the look of these Me262 protectors the red and white stripes came out really well. I love the look of butcher birds and for odd aircraft in general and this fits both categories. Thank you for sharing with us.

Thanks Lyle but yeah, she's spoken for! I really need to do some home improvement in my model room but I'm too lazy and I don't want to interrupt my modeling.

Thanks Bruce! The sun popped out today so I was able to take some more pics in my courtyard. I salvaged an old 2NE1 (google it) poster that my daughter no longer uses. Interesting to note that this project took almost a year to complete! It was started in April of 2018. How time flies!

Thanks so much! From a modeling perspective, those stripes really take away from what I can do in terms of weathering. While eye-catching, these high-contrast schemes are not a favorite of mine to work on.

Thanks Carlos! It took a freakin year to finish so yeah, I hope it was worth the journey for the SPAmmers. Once I get the 262 wrapped up... I'll start on the big scale Tamiya Corsair!

Thank you Kari! Yes, I was quite pleased at how the removable spinner worked out. Couldn't have done it without the suggestion of Bruce. It always helps to have multiple minds working on a problem instead of just one!
