By request... I found this figure set at Brookhurst Hobbies the other day for a great price and just could not pass it up. I started building them the day after I got them home. Kinda nice to jump into a new kit right away...

anyways, as I build these guys I keep hearing the Omaha beach narration from “The Big Red One”...

We couldn't move forward,
we couldn't move back.
Exit E-1 was blocked by a
huge barbed-wire tank trap.
Our Navy was supposed to shell it,
our planes were supposed to bomb it...
our bazooka teams were
supposed to blow it up.
If all else failed, we were the
last resort: the Bangalore Relay.

.30 Cal. Machine Gun team... (still need to build the ammo bearer)

Four more to go...

Subscribed! Figures and photography are fantastic, Carlos! Exciting! These may be genuine period colors and possibly useful?

I’m glad that you like them Bruce.

Two more figures built today- .30 Cal. MG Team ammo bearer and Bangalore man #2

I think there are two left to build in the set.

Thanks Doc. I hope that I can find at least one more box of these guys for a reasonable price like these. Online I’m finding them costing a lot more than I paid. 10 is just not enough guys to fill a landing craft.
