Since I'm too lazy to take a pic of the Bandai X-Wing kit, I've decided to take it a different route as far as markings go. Along with the current striping markings in the kit, I'm going to make my own decal of this to give it a little "what-if" feel to it:



I found this image online a couple weeks ago and thought to myself, "Oh yeah, I've got to do tis one!"

I know the kit is in 1/72 scale and the decal is going to be small. I'm going to try my hardest to sharpen it the best I could. The biggest challenge is to paint a white background to fit the decal.

Tom, you can cut a circle of white decal paper to put under it. I can send you some if need be.

Now why didn’t I think of that? Thank you. Hold off for now. I “think” I may have some spare white circle decals in my stash.

Or, you could buy a 5,000 dollar printer. I’d give you all my badness!

You may want to look at the Partisan X-Wing camouflage.

Yeah, Poe’s X-Wing is a possibility. I’ve thought about doing a black, grey, & White camo version or digital camo. Haven’t decided yet. Still trying to decide where to place the custom decal too. Topside Wings? Fuselage? So many possibilities.

I think if I did one I'd have to do it in Euro 1 camo.

Found a few more cool schemes I liked online. Now to decide which one to do.
