Hi All,

Whilst playing around with my sci-fi tank this weekend, and having watched Fury 1.5 times, I had a sudden urge to build a WWII Tank. I don't have a M4 but I do have my namesake - Tamiya's new tool M3 Stuart.

The detail is really nice...



The kit has rubber band tracks - but really NICE rubber band tracks...





So far I've assembled the lower hull - the fit is blooming awesome! It's almost snaps together.



Looking forward to building some more.

Does anyone know of a rattle can that is a good OD match?

Coats better than Tamiya! Then use your enamels on top!

Off to a great start, I don't mind using rubber band tracks on U.S. Armor since the tracks was always really tight unlike German armor of the time.

US tanks use a “live” track- rubber bushings around each track connector pin to give them more tension. There was no slack/sag in them normally in service.



Here is the real deal in Tunisia, Spring 1943.
