Roden 1/48 T-28B Trojan COMPLETE

I really like the trainers. This has been an interesting build as the assembly is a bit different from other kits I've done. Here's a few pics - on the home stretch. First time using Eduard pre-painted cockpit stuff - I have mixed feelings about this but overall it looks okay.
Nasty crinkle of Tamiya flat black over the True North orange... plus bleed ugh
Cleaned up the bleed and most of the crinkle - moving on. Did the panel lines with pencil, subtle.
Hope to wrap this one up this weekend.

It's pretty nice overall. Fit is fine, though the assembly sequence is a bit different, particularly the wing root. And some of the instruction locations are vague - also the cowl flaps didn't fit well and are out of scale. I'd scratch build them next time. I went with metal gear as I read the stock nose gear can break under the amount of weight needed to keep it from being a tail dragger. I also used the pre painted eduard cockpit kit which is nice, but I have mixed feelings over the overall look. I used SuperScale decal no MS481262 as I liked the scheme and it comes with the exhaust black decals.
Here's the wing root assembly that's a bit different. Overall I'd recommend it.
