Interesting If this was metal! Thanks, Carlos. I would still make this using clear sheet plastic painted yellow regardless! I am kind of surprised that Eduard made this a builder option.

Interesting detail there....Stikpusher wrote:I’m pretty sure that the pennant is a sheet metal piece affixed to the antenna mast. It denotes a leadership position within the unit.
Going to have to think something up, I like the scheme and have several options for the 109 between decals and the order that I am going to place here in about a week.

Here are a couple of Emil’s with the antenna pennant. As you can see it stands proud even when sitting still, so it is not a cloth flag with no rigidity.

Here is a blog post with several photos of the actual aircraft... including the mast pennantAtomCat109 wrote:
Is the triangle coming off the antenna on the 109s a flag?
If so how does one model this on a kit? Thinking about doing this scheme for the GB but unsure as to what it was really made out of in real life? Cloth? What would it’s proper “stance” be while the aircraft sit on the ground?

Re: Messerschmitt 2019 Group Build
I am in! I already planned a Messerschmidt for my next build so this is a happy coincidence.
It will be a Fujimi 1/48 G-12 in Czech colours (so it is an Avia S.99). I have got a masking set for the marking, an Eduard photoetch set, resin wheels and propellor. So lots of additions. And I will probably have to buy an aftermarket decals set for the stencils because I bought this kit without any decals.
So, what are rules for the badge.... only after you have finished your build?

So now this song is in my head! That is why I want to make a G-12.
