GB Rules and discussion thread

All things jet, no props and Stik...no armor even though the M1 is turbin powered.

GB Rules and discussion thread

Post by Stuart »

Hi Dudes and Welcome to the SPAM 2019 Jet powered Group Build…

(um I don’t mean the GB is jet powered, I mean it’s a GB for Jets, you know – Aircraft with big flames coming out of the back of them but still flying… and such… )

Image

Start: 4th July (assuming you guys in the colonies are still vertical and not Beered and BBQ’d to sleep) although I won’t hunt anyone down for starting sooner.

Finish: Well this is SPAM, so I suspect we’ll still have builds going on by the time the RAF get the F-35 into service.

:rules:

Any aircraft in any scale that is powered by a Turbine engine as its primary source of thrust. So Turbojets and Turbofans - yes. Turboshaft and Turboprops – nope. (However, I will let in any Rocket or Ramjet powered aircraft simply because they go Woosh! and are therefore cool).

Builders can start their own shiny build threads as they see fit and can build as much as they like. I’ll probably pinch any finished photo’s and put them in a finished thread.

Let me know below who’s in and building what by posting below and I’ll keep a roster, just in case anyone’s mad enough to read this in 5 years and wants to know.

That’s about it – I’m looking forward to building with you guys!

Cheers!

To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Cool - Welcome aboard!

No worries not knowing yet - plenty of time to decide!
