I was always partial to the Bitburg Eagles... like the armored cavalry regiments in Germany, they would have been among the first in action had the Cold War gone hot there.

Good choice Carlos! Those are the sort of marking I'd be after - I like the two tone grey and the Hi-viz markings. Not having much luck finding decals though - even Hannants is pretty thin.Stikpusher wrote:I was always partial to the Bitburg Eagles... like the armored cavalry regiments in Germany, they would have been among the first in action had the Cold War gone hot there.
That's class Bruce - the dog is a great looking aircraft.

I'm partial to the F-15's. Those are just beautiful aircraft.

That they are....mustang1989 wrote:I'm partial to the F-15's. Those are just beautiful aircraft.
The F-15 prototype in overall Aircraft Gray, before the high visibility markings were added for flight test at Edwards.
Air Superiority Blue F-15A during early training years at Luke AFB
F-15C Mod Eagle....
You will notice that externally, the F-15 design has minimal changes. The upgrades have almost all been internal

Great Pictures Carlos!
It is a stunning looking aircraft and that's for sure. I used to have a great book on the Eagle - kinda wish I still had it.
