Got some legs mounted up, tonight will attach the wheels and gear doors/panels. The original prop I made did not go together nicely for some reason so I put it in a vise to help it with that issue and well it did not survive.... lucky it was just the spinner that broke and I have a spare but that will be for later... will also need to pick up some weathering powder/dust to make the tires proper but that will have to be when I place my next order when ever that will be. Antenna and it will be done.

Fantastic work, Kevin. I really like that bird.

Thank you gents! Going to have to get my daughter to help me make more stretched sprue since I used my good batch as filler. Need that antenna wire to be as thin as I can make it!

Looks great - about to start my first Luftwaffe builds since...mmmm... 16 or so?
That canopy looks like frames with no glass - really nice.

You will get to it when you can, no worries!!Handiabled wrote:Kevin this looks gorgeous! Trying to get to the bench and here when opportunity knocks, but lately that has been sparse if at all.... Hopefully soon!!
Ok got one complete, for the most part. The antenna wires were being a pain in the butt and took up too much of my time tonight... the only other thing I want to do is add the dusting with powders on the tires but will need to practice first on something else. But for now this is basically complete and will be doing the wires on the others when I am not as irritated by it. This build was a big leap for me with the camo scheme and the modified radiator cowls which after using the Quickboost resin parts on the builds after this I will say is a way better option in the long run. Will be starting a different build next that is not a Luftwaffe build but enough of me yammering on, the pics!
