I’ve almost picked that kit up a couple of times but something is telling me that the MPC kit is a better kit. Gonna have to do some homework on that one.

Looks like it's gonna be the Revell kit that wins out. Gonna have to pick one of those up today.

Here's a comparison link. https://blog.consumerguide.com/classic- ... -monogram/

I think I would change those tires out to a slightly lower profile and wider stock tire. Those things are way too tall and cheesy looking. Gonna have to find some Uniroyal or Bf Goodrich tires to get a better looking profile for them. Now that I'm looking at it a little closer, it'd have to be dropped another scale inch or two to keep it from looking like a 4WD T/A. :giggles: And then there's that NASTY red interior and those dreaded "dots" in the middle of the friggin headlights!!!!!!!!! OMG!!! :ballbat:

This...........looks MUCH better.

Just looking for a Trans-am or a Dodge - kit prices here in the UK are insane. I've yet to find one that is lower than £50-00.

Some of these kits are pretty expensive when you start looking for the vintage ones.

I also have an info update. It looks like the above comparison was between the MPC Blackbird T/A and the Monogram kit.

The MPC Firebird T/A kit that I was referring to earlier:

appears to be a pretty decent kit with a low parts count. The following link has a fella (who doesn't strike me as a thorough modeler) laying all the parts out to the kit and it looks pretty dang impressive to me. With a little elbow grease and maybe some AM items it'd turn into a good lookin' show winner IMO.

Somebody's gotta chase down the Bandits. :giggles:
I loved watching Starsky & Hutch on a Friday night back in the day.

Well I just got done helping a friend rebuild his 351C 4V (was a 2V but corrected that problem). Cool car!

I like the expanded content. Really makes it fun. Anyone doing a Bullet? Bond car? Clampetts wagon, munsters car..lol. long list of fun stuff.
Good looking Cleveland. What's it going in? Mach1? Link doesn't work for me.
