Well... there are always the old Revell standbys of USS Arizona, USS Constitution, & USS Missouri... :hmm:

Black Sheep, Stik is right, she flew the Jack. Sorry my friend.
Revell makes a 1/600 SS United States. and while she never was never called upon to serve, she was built as a dual purpose troop ship encase the need arose.
Always happy to dig up stuff. The Queen and I go way back, so she has a special place in my life. I know a bit more about her than most liners (read a tad bit as opposed to almost nil)

Speaking of the Arizona, I've always wanted to try this, but not with my 1/350 Hobby Boss with PE, wood deck and AM barrels.

detailed reference of the damaged towers may require some research though.
Building a kit from your stash is like cutting the head off a Hydra, two more take it’s place.

I hope you do build this. The emotions are... hard to control... when seeing her remains. So I will add this:

I had the thought about a year ago and was seriously thinking of doing it with the 1/350 kit but didn't want all the PE and AM to go to waist. I might give the Revell a try though if I can find some 1/426 PE that's not more than twice the price of the kit. I was also thinking of a above and below the water version by pouring resin but not sure if I could do her justice. :hmm:

Badge looks good! Might make the green type a different color to pop out more, though. Everything else... good. Good work. Here is an alternate from my little factory, based around the remnant of a Normandy landing craft flag...

Yeah, I wasn't happy with the green either, just every other color I tried hid in the background.
I like yours, can you put an eagle in there somewhere?

Another idea:

I will have to think about adding an eagle... and really your badge design looks good. I think it is the green SP... part of SPAM that seems hard to read.

Can you take this picture and try to add the wording?
