Having recently lost my cat Misty whom I still cry for; I know your pain well. Take your time; it is important to grieve. He was family after all.

Having had to put down several pets through the years I can definitely identify with your loss of your beloved pet bro. Sorry to hear about your loss Tom.

Did some decal work last night. The Red Tomatoe got stripes!!!

I need to touch up a bit of chrome on the door handles. I'll admit, they were a beast to do. Instruction guide states to apply the side stripes first before the top one. There is a couple tiny bubbles I need to puncture and apply more Micro Sol.

Engine compartment...

Rear tail light plate. Yes, that is a decal in the center circle.

That's it for now. There are more exterior decals to apply to the body.

You should. No fit issues except I had a warped hood which RoG replaced right away.

Looking Excellent Tom!

Those decals and the work putting them in place cannot have been like a walk in the park ?
Big and sort of multi dimensional with tricky angels etc

It’s the matter of making sure the top decal lines up with the sides perfectly. Not easy but I managed to get it right. I was able to adjust the sides a bit while they were still damp.

I was extremely careful not to rip the points of the side decals when applied them.

That is most impressive! Congrats on getting those decals to lay down and behave,

The fiddley bits decals....

Ford and trunk key hole - yeah, that is a decal keyhole

Ford decal. Each is a separate letter...

I've puncture the tiny holes to eliminate the bubbles on a couple spot on the stripes. Then I will spray a few light coat of gloss clear to seal in the decals. Once that's done, I will touch up the chrome around the door handles.
