Taking much of Bruce's advice (didn't have a micro fiber cloth)….Mixed up some shades of gray. started light and added some black to get darker as we went. Well, a little darker. I was reminded that this is a monochromatic scheme.....nothing drastic. I think I did that!!!
So subtle, I have a hard time seeing it. I guess that is somewhat the point. Anyway, I'm letting this dry and will proceed.

To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

When you think that you’re almost there... stop.
"Surely I have made my meaning plain? I intend to avenge myself upon you, Admiral. I have deprived your ship of power, and when I swing 'round, I intend to deprive you of your life."

I am so excited to see what the cured version looks like. Give this time before handling again. Please. Just go read or start another kit. Would love to see more of your projects! Outstanding!

Looking great Lyle
Building a kit from your stash is like cutting the head off a Hydra, two more take it’s place.
