I've always been a huge fan of the Bronco. Back when I was studying for my amateur radio license a friend of my fathers would pick us up in his Bronco to go to tech classes way back when I was 12 or 13. So when I saw this kit I jumped on it. This is clearly a newer mold as the assembly and fit is really fantastic. Also, the mold detail is amazing - resin like details in some cases. Anyhow - got started and thought I'd share.

Body parts painted right out of the Tamiya rattle can

Here's a shot of the detail I was referring to. Never seen this in Revell plastic. The vents are so fine.

Got the engine and some of the chasis together

Back from when the Bronco was actually a utility vehicle and not gentrified into a SUV...
Nice subject choice!

Nice work. Looking forward to it. I just wish Revell had gone just a step further and offered it bone stock.

I haven’t picked this kit up yet and am surprised that I still don’t have it given my love for this truck. Will be watching this one.

It's a really nice kit - I recommend it for sure, at least in terms of assembly. Got a rolling chassis - on to interior/body. (fixed the front tire orientation after looking at the pic

)

Progress - nothing glued yet and lots of detail work to do in the engine bay but she's coming along

So she's glued together - had a hard time getting the front locating pins and the radiator and shroud in but eventually sealed her up. Got the grill on and need to do a bunch of touch up in the engine bay as I had a few colors bleed - hate red on black, hate yellow on black. I'll clean it up but here's tonight's work:
