OK boys, I've been working on the Do 335. I completed the pits, canopies, wing and fuse. I also completed the panel line scribing and painted a black primer. I have a few more things to do before painting the camo.

That is looking great.

I remember doing the old Monogram kit of the Do-225 in my youth years. Hand painted the camo scheme. :giggles:

Thanks guys. After inspecting it under a magnifying light there's still a few places that need so work panel line wise. Just some filler and re-scribe should fix it, as long as I don't go off the rails again.
I've got to say, this is one of the ugliest planes I've seen, but the wife thinks they're cute so I bought it for he. I'm planning on taking it to the Omaha Nats and show it in the OOB category but am not expecting much. Assuming I can make it this year.

Mike, I agree, I also think it's one of the ugliest planes I've ever seen. Almost everything Blom und Voss ever did was just super ugly!

Nice work so far, keep it coming! Good luck at the Nats too; wish I could be there to see it in person.

OK boys, after Christmas the Secret Santa gifts go on the bench. Since I got two I decided to start on the Oshkosh M-ATV.
I started on it a couple of days ago and this is a nice kit! I'm really enjoying it.

Image

The kit starts with the frame and suspension

I removed the plastic cable on the wench and added my own twisted wire to replace it.

I don't know how much will be seen after everything has been added but I know it there.
I've ordered some figures for a dio.
I'll start on the SPAM SS gift as soon as this one is done.

Cool! After your post in the aquesitions-thread I was hoping that you're starting this one soon. Bought the kit in May and it's on top of my starting-a-new-kit-list. But first I have to care for one or two shelf queens.
