'65 Ford Mustang GT 350 1/35 scale

Post by BlackSheep214 »

While I was cleaning out the garage yesterday, I found this. I had completely forgotten about this little beast of a kit. I believe this was a part of the Revell Model Club I joined back in the late 70s early 80s. No box but bagged. Everything is complete.

I'm thinking of doing this one in silver or white. Haven't made a decision yet.

Yeah... this is going to be a quick build. No engine to install, minimal detailing, just the way I like it for something this small.

Cool kit in an odd scale. I believe it's this boxing?

You can pose it next to a 1/32 tank or aircraft.

It must be the boxing except it didn't include the number 16 decals. Mine came bagged from the Revell Club I joined as a kid.

Looking at photos of the real GT350 and I knew something was off. Aside from the side decals, there are only 3 sets of double blue stripes, not 5 as it should have. (No, there was no second sheet) I'm not sure what to make of it. Oh yeah, it appears that I may have lost one headlight lens. :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: What to do, what to do...

The only thing I can do about the lack of double stripes is make an extra set. The headlights, I still don’t know what to do...
