first one, Special Hobby

Saab SK37E; Elo-Viggen;Saab SK 37E Viggen ; 1 Div., wing F21 ; Lullea-Kallax 2005

this the swedish fighter i the role of ECM Tornado, Growler...more or less

the kit is without ECM or Flare pod, extra Resin kits from Maestro, shortrun with very good PE parts and lot of fit issue but good details...much work for a seldom seen double seater Viggen

Looks good! Those Day Glo tail markings sure do contrast with the low visibility gray of the aircraft.

You didn’t go with the splinter camo scheme? And yes, 1978 was a good year

Very nice work Peter! How long did it take you to build this with all the rescribe, AM additions, and normal work?

no spliter camo is reserved for the AJ37 fighterbomber in the stash

started building this with all work when the SK37 was started painting becouse they should have the same color ant this was a free style mix of gray, only some days to build but a lot of hours every day

Gosh, this is one of my favourite aircraft designs and I still don't have one in my stash. Shying away from the short run character of Special Hobby I guess.
Magnificent work as always, Peter!

That’s pretty damn good build for a ‘78 kit. You are a master now matter the age of the mold. Looking forward to the splinter on the next one. I don’t have one in my stash because of that reason - the splinter scheme.

Very nice! I have both the Tarangus and the ESCI Viggens.
