John, Bruce, and Mike, Thank you.

Over the weekend after the Fourth, I started working on the eyes, and some of the other detail painting. Today I started working on the oil washes on the skin and uniforms. Here’s the first couple...

Great work, Carlos! On the first figure on the left is he wearing a scarf around his neck? In photos I have seen I believe this is a scarf... or neckerchief?

Thanks Bruce. No scarf or neckerchief on the figure. He looks to based off of this Osprey color plate, but with some minor differences.

Lyle and John, Thank you. The washes are bringing out all of the fine detail so that should help me for the final detail painting.
