A few months ago one of my co workers ordered a remote control F-16 from China for $15.00. Well.....two months later it finally came in....except it wasn't no remote control aircraft. What he got was a 3D Metal Model of an Avro Lancaster which was worth, after a little research, just a tad over $6.00. I had to laugh because this guy is ALWAYS looking for the "better deal". Anyways....he was just going to throw it in the trash when I intervened and decided to build it for him so he'd at least get something out of the deal. I started it today and after a couple of hours finished it. I will NOT be doing another one of these in this lifetime I don't think. The metal is really thick and hard to work with but it at least looks like a Lancaster.....I guess. lol

I'm figuring this to be around the 1/144 scale range:

That looks really nice. I’ve done a couple Metal Earth kits and some are pretty intense build wise. I am hoping I’ll get another come Christmas time as I did last year.

Thanks you guys. This was definitely a break from the norm.

Johnny:Hey, I thought a set of Volks Wheels would look good on it. What's wrong with that?? :giggles:

That's pretty cool. Yeah, if it's a too true to believe deal, there's a reason for it.

came out really well. The pen really puts it into scale on how small it is.
