I'm trying to get my modelling mojo back. With everything going on and work, I haven't had much desire to build anything. So I thought that I'd get something easy with no aftermarket resin or PE. I will use aftermarket decals cause I don't like the ones that come with the kit.

Nice choice! I’m gonna watch this one. I agree about the squadron markings and wonder why Revell chose those...

That sounds like a really good idea Mike and pretty much the same thinking I had with my Hawk. Super detailing and planning is all very well, but sometimes nothing get the mojo going than just seeing some actual decent progression.

I like your choice of AM decals, especially the ips, belts and side panels!

This will actually be a dual build as I have two of the same kit. The first will be the Tophatters jet and the other will be a VFA-151 Vigilantes jet.

Just ordered these.

Test fitting the fuselage. It's gonna take a lot of clamps. Oh and really Revell, really? I thought we were past adding the born on date on the outside.
