Oh god no.... cats, high places, and models in display cases is not a good mix. That’s why I’m looking for a display case for my kits. All my completed builds are still in boxes except my 2 armor kits and X-Wing kit.

And now, it’s just about all done... (he forgot to bring the parts for the toe kicks under the cabinets. They are sitting in his garage cut, stained, and varnished, just needing to be installed)

I like this...I like it a LOT!!!
Am I right in thinking this is strictly a stand alone display room? Nothing more, nothing less?
I really dig it! Great work by "your guy" too! I hope you fed him and "hydrated" him well!!!

Thanks Fermis. Yes, we offer the man anything that he would like from our food & drink. He has an office to do for my wife up next, since she works from home. It will be same style bit of furniture. Between us and the neighbors, he’s generating a LOT of business on our street.
And yes, this is just a stand alone display room, hang out. My work area is out in the garage, and not so fancy.

Thanks Mike. The ceiling fan was the only item that I knew I was going to have for sure. Had that installed early on.

I never added the later additions to my room. Last year my wife ordered some custom woodwork stuff for me when we were at the Departments's "Retirement Roundup" - wooden plaques of my badge & station insignia where I worked most of my career, and wood thin blue line flag




and I also have been decorating the wall behind the bar



I still have a bit more artwork to add in this area once I get some framing done, plus one other goody...
