Well I kinda meant the build rather than the overspray, but I think you plan will work.

To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

He just getting it ready for the yellow flames that happen when a Zero gets hit...

Re: 1/48 Tamiya Zero A6M5c
This little beauty is not going down without a fight. Kit decals split and came apart. Contacted Tamiya USA and the gentleman kindly sent me a new set, sealed in a factory bag - I guess. Darn near giddy with excitement. Cut out the Hinomaru and yes, the two that I tried came apart as well. Not sure I've seen this with Tamiya decals before.
Anyway, I can cut masks for the hinomaru and such. I'm good at circles.
But, I'm looking for a font of the Japanese numbers used on the fuselage codes, so I can print those if needed.
Anyone know of any?

Yeah, Stuart, like a Hoover vac! John, thanks. I was able to use the tail codes. Maybe pics tomorrow.

Lyle, did you shake the box too hard, is that what's causing trouble?
Re: 1/48 Tamiya Zero A6M5c
Must have! This decal sheet came from Tamiya USA with a couple of replacement parts. It wasn’t laid flat in the box, oh well.

Why not look for an AM decal set for your Zero?
