Possible subject: a yellow tailed Polikarpov I-153

Yellow Nose, Green Nose, Blue Nose, Red tails, Yellow Tails Checkered Nose, etc...

Basically, any Allied aircraft during WW2 that sported any type of Colored or Checkered Noses and/or Tails.

So, I am still alive, just haven’t done much modelling lately. Until this week! I had some time and finally painted the I-153. The masking toke more time then the painting but that is a necessary step. Painting was done with AKAN amt 4 and A II blue and Tamiya yellow. All thinned with mr. Surfacer self levelling thinner.

Thanks for the warm welcome. And it is good to be back in to business.

I brushed some Future on as a gloss coat. And then the decals. All eighth of them! ICM decals have a bad reputation but they worked fine for me. I also added a white stripe on the fuselage. I see this in none the profiles of this aircraft nor the instructions but it is there in the pictures.
