1/72 Heller SBC-4 with extra AM

Yellow Nose, Green Nose, Blue Nose, Red tails, Yellow Tails Checkered Nose, etc...

Basically, any Allied aircraft during WW2 that sported any type of Colored or Checkered Noses and/or Tails.

Steve, I would have thought the interior would be aluminum lacquer in that time period.

Yeah, I wasn't sure if it was green, yellow or silver. The instructions said green so I went with that.

Got some done to the Helldiver this last weekend.
I've gone and lost the prop but it can be the last thing to install so I have time to look for it, otherwise I suppose a prop from a Wildcat or something would work, if I can fine a sacrificial kit. That's what happens when I set a kit aside without properly "winterizing" it.

Lost prop?! :headslap: That sucks! I do hope that it turns up fast, the rest of the build is looking great!

Steve, I'm pretty sure I have a prop for you, I have 3 of these kits and one was started by someone else. I'll check tomorrow.

Sounds great John.
After attaching the top wing I noticed the horz stabs weren't level. DANG IT!. Oh well, easy fix, detach, reattach, touch up and back on track.
