Yeah he ejected a few seconds before it hit the road - he went out sideways horizontal to the ground. Me and paramedic found him just before the Air Ambulance landed. He was awake but I think he'd suffered a back injury - he was bloody lucky.

It was pretty shocking - if he'd have been flying about 10 degrees to the left, I've have had it in my face.
