In a hypothetical, "perfect" model building room, I would have a great stereo system. And that's where I would have my CD and LP shelves too. There would be room on the workbench for my laptop, and room for all the glass-shelved display cabinets I need. Then, I could settle in at the "bench" and get to work and would most definitely have good music playing. All the time. My laptop would be hooked up to that awesome stereo and my streaming music collection set to random play. That way, Aretha Franklin could be followed by Hank Williams, then Miles Davis, then the Stones and Bob Wills would follow. 50,000+songs would cycle around and all I would have to do is work models and groove along.

Wouldn't it be nice to have that perfect room? I bet some of you guys do! I like to dream though...

I listen to a lot of Metal while I work, but also classic rock and Fusion Jazz as well. Basically anything with killer guitar gets the nod for me. I am an audiophile and have a serious Hi-Fi set up here. Most of life is in boxes but I made certain the tunes were last. And with the delay of this house sale and my new house being sold out from under me I'm glad I did keep it from being packed.

I have been listening to Conan novels on Youtube. They are excellent and well done by the various people who perform them.
Now that we know that.... What have we learned?...

It was hot! Until around the 6th inning. The waistband of my shorts is still wet. Shirt finally dried out. It is a really nice place. We were in sec 524 behind home plat. Up high, but what a view.

The players seemed much bigger on TV.... :hmm:

The Reds and Indians share a training field a few miles down the road from us here. It’s a very nice facility/ball park. We go to Spring training games to see them play at that time of year.

I'm a diehard Red Sox fan. Their spring training facility is 1/2 hour north of me in Ft Myers. Didn't get a chance this year but would like to go see them next spring
