As I tend to start more builds than I ever finish, I thought I will also create a common / shared topic as many of you, this thread being for my airplane builds.
Instead of x amount of threads without an end..
More to follow..

Re: Kari's bench 2021 -->
I started with Tamiyas new Phantom II kit, which I am planning to build as an OOB build, "to keep it simple".
Instead of following the logical order, aka the cockpit, I jumped directly to step 9; "The nose landing gear bay".
Already astonished of the kit quality and the engineering!
The gear bay pieces just lock into eachother and create a sturdy construction, which will need just a tiny amount of cement and the risk of cement floodings reduce
The pieces were first primed with MRPs Fine surface primer, before getting a number of thin layers of MRPs Insignia white.
I used deliberately another white nuance, that is not too bright white (as regular flat white) and I found the Insignia white to be ok.
Let's see what next!

Then some detail painting before the first part of the weathering process started; a basic oil wash.

I can’t find my bench. Youf’s is looking good. Nice building.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
