As long as your friend Emily has similar hair and skin tones to Faye Wray, you should be good with her as your example.

I agree. I have paints on order for this, and bits and bobs and weathering paints on order for the Panzer II. I guess I could work on a plane. Maybe. I boxed most of my stuff up for my buddy to store in Utah, safe from zombies and aliens.

Thanks, Mike! I’m absurdly happy to be building this resin sculpt. The quality is fantastic. I asked if he would send me one of his King Kong heads and he is. Hooray.

Today I received news that my buddy in Japan is also building these replacements. I am over the moon because he is a superb figure painter. Check out his Creature from the Black Lagoon. This fella is a pro.

We already discussed the issues from the weight of the resin King Kong head as well as how to fit the figure in Kong’s hand.

He writes:
My head is solid resin, so I'm going to shave the inside with a drill and take off a millimeter, and I'm going to have a good time with a lot of Aves. My head is heavy, so I will try to fix it on the base with a metal line on the back of both legs to prevent the tumble. Fay Rey doesn't fit in the hole in the hand so I sharpened the hole in the hand.

From the Jackson remake but the cream colored dress is a close approximation of the original…
