1/1200 something... sorry

Post by Ceaser_Sa1ad »

G'day,
Continuing my builds, this is the one and only ship I have done. I do not even know what it is, I got it on discount a loong time ago and I just can't remember. I think its 1/1200 or something like that? It is very small.

Looks to be an Iowa Class battleship. :hmm: The bigger the ship scale, the easier he parts are to work with. Of course there tend to be a lot more parts as they grow in size and scale…

I do want to do a larger ship... but it would be in a diorama.
Here's a hint: HMS Thunderchild

Looks pretty good. You have done very well. I'd love to see how well you do on a bigger ship.

Thanks mate, I think I will start on a bigger ship after I finish.... uh well a few things including a lit USS Excelsior for my mothers birthday, my P51 I have been discussing and a 1/25 2017 Camaro I recently painted up. So give or take 2 months I should be starting on it.

I saw a four-episode show done in Britain of that book; it was set in the 1900's and seemed quite accurate to the book for the most part. My favorite scene was when they were all on the beach with the navy battleships, cruisers and destroyers all offshore and one Martian tripod showed up. They showed all the battleships and cruisers firing their main guns and hitting the tripod; breaking it's legs and making it fall to the ground where subsequent salvos blew it up. So awesome!
