Matchbox 1/72 OH-58D Kiowa Warrior...

Post by Stuart »

As I mentioned to Carlos in another thread, I'm planning on building some of the equipment mentioned in the novel 'Team Yankee'. As it ties in with a Helicopter GB I've been roped into helping with, I'm going to start off with this...(it also fits in with my late Cold War USAF theme).

Matchbox's classic 1/72 kit.

It's a pretty simple kit - only two sprues!

Not too bad surface detail...

Classic Matchbox Instructions and some usable and actually in register decals. The clear parts are a bit thick but should be okay after some Future.

I'm going to try to get the Spitfire mostly finished first, and then I'm onto this one.

Cheers!

Giddy up!
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Nice to see again a classic Matchbox kit, with classic "sort of strange" colors of the sprues

Nostalgia times two !

Having built two of these, I'm gonna enjoy watching this. Bring it on Stuart!

Thanks Gents!

Hopefully I'll get to it over the weekend, as I've almost finished the Spitfire!
