The paint looks great, John. I don't think there should be a visible join on that carb air intake on top, though.

I saw that in the pic. I'll have to look at the model I never noticed it

That's a good effort on that paint Johnny. Spraying that second color can always be tricky when going for the ultra thin layers of paint but it looks like you pulled it off well.

I found out that middlestone was field applied right over the OD

What a concept. I haven’t done anything like that since I was in high school and did a few multiple builds of the same sit or subject like that. Might be fun to try again.

I've done it a few times. In 48th scale two is not that bad. 72nd I did 5 Airfix Mustangs all at once with 2 Academy ones thrown in.
