Congratulations, John! Your work is outstanding. The models look amazing. From the synopsis this project will be quite a challenge to undertake, but using practical models is a wonderful way to go.

Thanks, Bruce. That lot looks like the work of a 10 man crew in a good sized shop! But did you note that all the Stukas have the same codes? But I do see they can add one letter on them and the Spitfires to make them different.

Here's pretty much the last step in this project, building a means of storing and transporting the models. I picked up a 4 X 8 sheet of 2inch foam insulation board and used it all making the internal parts for 5 24 X 30 X 12 cardboard boxes. Also used was a lot of hot glue, bubble wrap, 2 inch vinyl tape, and 3/4 inch velcro. Holes were cut to clear all the bits sticking out so the models rest on wide flat areas, and resting upside down to keep the armament stores clear of hazard. Andrew is planning to pick everything up next Tuesday.

That's pretty awesome John - those builds look great. I especially love the Air Force One inspired build!

I hope we get to see the film!

Magnificent work John! It must feel great knowing these awesome models will be seen by so many on the big screen.

Nice packaging too. Maybe I should have you do a more permanent carrying box for my Antonov! LOL!! :lashed: :giggles:
