I was just thinking....when this one starts to wind down, how about a "I did it again GB" where we redo a kit that we did years ago.

I like the thought of a redo build. I have a whole bunch of kits for that…

There was a theme like that OAF not too long ago and I thought it went well. I redid a Monogram Me-109 that I first built in 1965 or so. For it to be most satisfying I think it is best to keep it to the original as possible, not pollute it with modern additions. I added a vacform canopy and resin interior to this one and though it took some work and improved accuracy, it detracted from the character, or messed up the nostalgia factor somehow.

Hell yeah! I've got a few kits I acquired in the past year or two.

I've got quite a few in my current stash from this pic. I think this was 84-85

I think this group build should be for a wide range of kits. I've got a few kits from my youth I bought for the purpose of having a go at it again.

That's a good idea. I could build the Osprey that I did as my first kit getting back into the hobby.

Seeing how this year has just two months and a few days left, I’d suggest the “re do” GB for 2022, and that a feeler thread go up around that time.
