I think the Italeri kits are good for their price. I could spend 26 Cad (As I remember) on the Italeri Tornado in 1/72 or something like 34 Cad on an airfix one which require a heck of a lot more work to make nice.
Yes the italeri kits have problems, but I think for the subject that you are getting and the price at which they are, it is worth it.
To put into perspective, I got a 1/700 Tribal class which ended up being about 4 inches long and less than an inch wide at 29.99 Cad.

Good progress on this one Johnny. I'm right there with you on the work and house projects. Been trying to finish my dang bathroom up now for the last 4 months and then after that I've gotta refloor my living room.

I'm definitely in agreement that this scheme just looks evil. Go for it man.

Thanks. Was hoping to have this and the Mustangs done by the end of January. But my work schedule is still going full tilt. So I'll be happy with the middle of February
