1/48 Revell B-26 "Mild and Bitter"

This is my second time building "Mild and Bitter" (4th time for this kit). The first was for Bill Vollenweider, son of Ed V., who was a co-pilot on this particular plane (also flew "Flak Bait"). This time around, I built this one for Lou(pilot)...who will be receiving it later in the week.
The first one gets a couple cameo's in this news clip....

I went all out with the first one...lots of added detail (all scratched), as well as a complete re-scribe. A massive lack in free time did not allow for all the extra effort. This on is OOB.
Still have to make a display base/case like the first one.

Looks real good! Having just finished this same kit as Flak Bait, I know what it took to get there!

OOB or not , this is a great build. I am sure that Lou will be very happy with it. Cool that you are in contact with the crew and are able to build and give them something to honour their effort.

She's a real beaut Fermis! Nice job all around, and inspires me to get mine out of the stash someday.

Gorgeous....we don't need no stinkin' recessed panel lines. You prove that here.
