Wow, this is gonna be a blast to watch! Brilliant idea for this kind of a build. Now you'll be building like I do all the time.

Like everyone else, I'm thrilled to see you posting again! :yahoo:

Hey, that kind of project could easily be finished at a Hobby Day! :lashed:

Very cool Bruce, it's a nice little kit that goes together well - I can't think of any gotchas. I certainly enjoyed the one I built a few months back, and have just brought another.

As for the mottleing, if you can allow yourself an extra, don't use the brush but instead use a cotton bud - with a sort of drybrushing 'roll on, roll off' action. That's how I did mine...

Cheers!

Great idea for the mottling Stuart! :hmm: I like it!

I know you like the 190 and Christmas is close. (Mystery mode off...)
Marius!

I spent half of my day cleaning a 1954 O’Keefe and Merritt (of Southern California) enameled range and oven along with having the Gas Company turn on and locate the water heater inside the 1949 one unit triplex I found for her. It required a lot of elbow grease to clean the interior of the stove. The Gas Co adjusted the air/gas flow.

What an interesting project. So good to get you back building.
I’m trying to make “early to bed, early to rise” my mantra, Lyle. Who knows if that will happen? I started taking Melatonin at night to facilitate the idea. I’m happy to be back.

Thanks so much for your kind words, Gary. Coming from a human whose own projects and photography of projects sets a higher standard, I greatly appreciate receiving them. Sorry I was late. See above domestic cleaning excuse I gave Marius.

Ditto! Truly. I thank you for following along with me. I did make some small moves tonight when I came home and after taking a shower (washing off “eau de stove”).
