Anyway,
Yesterday we watched The Nutcracker on the electric telebishon, . . me in my tutu, the dog in a hat or something like that. Not much went on. Christmas Day is pretty quiet for us, as we celebrate with the family on Christmas Eve. Always have.
Later in the day, watched A Christmas Story. Yesterday evening, I did not want to cook, so I ordered Chinese from our nice, little place here in Mt. Washington, the China Cafe. It was either coincidence, the movie or the fact they were the only place I saw open, but I could not even turn into the place for 5-10 minutes and then sat in the drive through for over an hour.
But, I digress. The real question is this
Is there any interest in adding a couple of forums:
1) Shelf of Doom - Where you can post what is there, if you want to be hounded about finishing it......
2( The Dumpster - Where projects that are abandoned go to rot in tubs of hot liquid glue.
My thought is that the WIP areas are junked up (mostly with my stuff) but in so many cases there are bits and pieces that are useful n most of these threads.

To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Yes, to both. I too have a lot of junk built up in the threads, so I agree that this would be helpful.LyleW wrote:Anyway,

Yeah, I suppose either one of those would work. A long stale WIP thread could be moved to one such new forum. We would just need to figure out a qualifying inactivity timespan. 6 months with no progress updates? 1 year?

Good idea, Lyle. If a member want to resurrect one of his stalled WIPs, he or she can drop us a line and we put it back into the active area.

That sounds good. My only suggestion is make sure you inform the members that their thread has been moved.

Re: Not enough coffee or too much time?
Maybe.....maybe not! I guess we should, though. Probably a time frame(?) or a member request.

Good idea I got more than one stalled build on here for multiple reasons.
March as one, Don't look back
Odin's sons... Attack!
Unleash hell! Do not repent! Warfare grants us no lament
Let your weapons slash and tear This is no place for fear
Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won
Our shields will form a mighty wall
United we shall never fall
