I’ve got a few goals for 2022. Here are mine..

Continue on my ‘57 Nomad conversion to a proper El Camino
Continue on the IJN Mogami waterline kit
A restoration build of an old Scene in a Bottle Space kit of mine
Find and buy more vintage kits from my youth teen years I used to do for a do over
Build at least two WW1 era military / early 1900s civilian vehicles or armor
At least a couple more WW2 ships and maybe a possible WW1 Dreadnought/Ironclad ship
Restart a stalled Mirage kit
Build a T-34 “Fighting Girlfriend” tank - Zvezda has the kit
More auto kits to build - at least 3 at most.

Far reaching goals…

Convert a WW2 era USS Fletcher destroyer to a post war version of my dad’s ship, USS Wadleigh
Find and build another ship my dad was on… a destroyer escort, USS Courtney
Build an aircraft carrier my uncle was stationed on during the Vietnam conflict, USS Independence
Build an aircraft carrier my primary doctor was on, USS Enterprise

Find and build…

Wright Brothers Kitty Hawk
Spirit of St. Louis aircraft
Convert WW2 era USS Fletcher destroyer to a later modification of my dad’s ship, USS Wadleigh
Find and build another ship my dad was on… a destroyer escort, USS Courtney

That's a lot Tom! We have a scale spirit of st louis here at the San Diego airport. Let me know if you want any pics.

My goals are to finish the Airbus 380, Yamaha YZR500 Kenny Roberts, p51B, H-19, and the A6M5 Zero.
Those are all GB commits. I have some super fun projects outside of these to get going.

That is quite the list! Wow, this should be a fun year to watch your Thread.

My goals:

-> Clean and organize the Hobby Room so the mess and clutter doesn't suck out all my mojo.
-> Finish the A-400 once and for all
-> Get the C-54 to the paint stage... it'll probably take me another three years to get the white part of the fuselage right!
-> Build more ships... I need five more to have 300 completed ships.
-> Get more of my 1/72 scale collection of motor torpedo boast done; I've always wanted to get a whole set of 1/72 scale motor torpedo boats
-> Try to keep my mojo up for longer than last year so I can get more models done.

That is mostly in order too.....

I have been thinking of this topic for the last week or so, this was what I came up with:

1. Complete the following: my SS GB kit on here and FSM, a 1/72 Stuka, and a 1/700 Japanese ship. Each are committed for a GB, so obviously #1. I would like to fit in a couple non-GB builds as well for shows later in the year.
2. I want to knock out at least 3 flats this year, and 2 or 3 busts/figures.
3. Do my usual entries on the Open class at the county fair in July, but try and attend in person the MMSI show in October in Illinois for the first time.
4. Resurrect at least 2 kits from the shelf of doom and finally wrap them up.
5. Sell off 15-30 kits, and not lose my shirt doing so.
6. Add fewer than 10 kits to the stash. (I already know it is impossible to say zero)
