Hi All,

Being totally disgusted with what's happening in the Ukraine at the moment, and with the total lack of response from the west, I decided last night I wanted to build some kind of tribute build to the brave Ukrainian defence forces defending their home land - so I ordered myself a Hasegawa Mig-29 in Ukrainian Air Force Markings from the bay.



Fast forward to this evening, I hear of talk of a UAF pilot who, and this is probably an urban myth, became an ace in a day by shooting down six Russian Air Force jets in the battle of Kyiv...

So I ordered myself some modern digital camo decals from a company in California.

Once it all gets here I'll start! I don't want to get political, but I do want to do a worthy tribute.

I was thinking that this morning - I'm so thankful for this little island of ours, it's saved us a number of times (although why some arse thought it was a good idea to dig a tunnel to France I'll never know!).

It just needs a few kilograms of TNT to close the servants' entrance.

We have the same idea Stuart. I was reading a story about the Ghost of Kyiv and thought I should buy a Mig-29. I've never built a Russian fighter or a Russian anything so it will be a first for me. I'm not sure how true this story is and a few of the videos claiming to be him have came out as being cgi and one was from a video game, but still a good story for the people of Ukraine to rally behind. I feel ashamed of the response from the US and feel this wouldn't have happened under the watch of a certain other president. I also fear that Taiwan will be invaded within a months time.

Oh it's almost certainly a story, as I would imagine the pilot in question would have been named and called a national hero by now, it's still a good one though!

I have a Mig-29 in the stash and that about doing the same thing. It really angers me that no one is coming to Ukraine's side. I know we're not to make this political, but how's this any different from when Iraq invaded Kuwait?

Oil and nuclear capabilities I'd suppose.
