Here you go then - Airfix's little 1/72 Boulton Paul Defiant. Brush painted with Hataka paints. It's a cracking little kits this, and I look forward to building the other two I have in my stash.

Thanks Lyle, it's a bit rough around the edges but I'm pretty pleased with it.

I might get my SLR out later in the week (assuming I have time) and take some better pictures.

It's a handy little backdrop for photos, although its actually a Soviet Cold War hanger!

Excellent finish Stuart! That sure looks great! I really love the paint work. I was wondering about the colors, and if those were Humbrol. Those Hataka paint really nail the RAF colors dead on target for shades.

The Hataka paints are pretty good, I think their colour research is excellent. I don't tgink I've found a shade yet I've questioned. Alas I don't use Humbrol much, my family complain about the smell of enamels and I'm not overly keen on their acrylic. Saying! that they've recently started making them in the UK, so I thought I might try them again to see how I get on.
