After I let the superstructure dry in place, I camouflage painted that, plus painted the bare metal areas on the gun recoil slide and breech block
The next day I airbrushed on a gloss coat, Tamiya Gloss Clear, and then the next day I added the decals... not too many there
So now this project is all caught up on here to my current point...

Magnificent!

Re: The Children of Doom
Looking good, Carlos. Not much protection from the back, is there. I suppose these were usually back a bit from the point of contact?

Re: The Children of Doom
Thanks guys!
Being a self propelled anti tank gun, its main purpose would be in defensive positions covering likely avenues of approach for enemy armor. So ideally emplaced a short distance back from the line of contact. In offense, they could be employed in overwatch positions to support by fire any advancing elements. The armor is mostly meant for protection from artillery fire fragments and small arms fire, nothing really heavier than that. Employing these where enemy infantry can get close enough to use rifle grenades or hand grenades means you're too close.

Re: The Children of Doom
Today was a case of airbrush, airbrush, and more airbrush... on this project I had recently applied a wash, and then cleaned it up... Today was airbrushing on a coat of flat clear
next up is final stowage and final weathering,,, plus I still need to add the radio antenna
