Razorback APC (Warhammer 40K)

Post by Stuart »

So I finished up this Warhammer model I started a few years back. I have to say I quite enjoyed it once I got into it, Citadel kits are the easiest to make, most I've built over the years having a few fit issues, but they are fun to paint. I've gone for more of a 90's style of painting, with lots of bright colours, rather than the 'Grimdark' aesthetic Games Workshop favours now.

I know nothing about this war hammer business, but this is very well done! Some sharp work!
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

That's a very tanky looking tank. If that makes sense.
I like that oldschool Warhammer stuff. Well done, Stuart!

That looks very sharp Stuart! :shoutout: All that color and those markings make for a very eye catching war machine.

Thanks! Yeah I much prefer the older stuff as well, much more fun and not as serious.

Thanks Carlos, it certainly stands out on the shelf, although I'm not sure I'd want to sit in one in a battlefield, they obviously don't do camo in the 41st millennium.

Visually stunning piece Stuart. Is that a Kelly's Heroes reference - Oddball? I can't get an idea of what the size of this piece is. My understanding is gaming pieces are pretty small.

This is really cool Stuart! The graffiti on the inside is a nice touch
March as one, Don't look back
Odin's sons... Attack!
Unleash hell! Do not repent! Warfare grants us no lament
Let your weapons slash and tear This is no place for fear
Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won
Our shields will form a mighty wall
United we shall never fall

It is indeed John, as was the 'Kilroy was here' graffiti inside the cabin. Most of these Space marine chracters are given Romanesque names, but I felt like doing it differently

Here it is with a bottle of TET, it's 28mm, which is smaller than 1/35 but still quite sizable.
